Manchán is taking on no events whatsoever in 2025 or 2026.
He has a rare, agressive form of prostate cancer called Neurdodndcrine. The prognosis is usually from a few months to a few year
If you email Manchán he will likely see your message, but he is no longer able to respond to everyone, as the sheer amount of correspondence has impacted his ability to complete his own projects.
Please note hat he is agreeing to no events. He is hoping to get some of his own proecd finished.
He discusses this conundrum with Brendan O'Connor on RTÉ here.
His charitable work is mostly now focused on the three organisations mentioned on the Home page.
"We are animals living in an animal world. But we are moving at a pace not suited for our animal bodies. I invite you to slow down with me and to interrupt the expectation that we always be online and available." Sophie Strand.
